Neuro-ophthalmology is a specialty subject for the understanding of visual system’s neurological mechanisms and commonly seen pathological conditions. The course has not been designed only for ophthalmologists or optometrists but also have in mind neuroscientists, psychologists and other health professionals interested in the neuro-ophthalmology.
This Course is based on both theoretical and clinical aspects of neuro-ophthalmology, aiming to be practical and useful, since the examination of the visual system can provide a window to the persons’ neurological status.
The Diploma in Neuro-ophthalmology is part of the Master in Applied Neuroscience.
