SAERA Contributes Standardised Assessment Tools to RICPP Testing Laboratory
SAERA is pleased to announce the academic contribution of the following internationally recognised standardised assessment tools to the Riphah Institute of Clinical and Professional Psychology (RICPP). These instruments are now available in the RICPP Testing Laboratory to support clinical training, psychological assessment and research activities.
Assessment Tools Contributed
- TVPS-4 (Test of Visual Perceptual Skills)
- Developmental Eye Movement (DEM) Test, Version 2.8 (2016)
- Ishihara Test for Colour Vision Deficiency (38-Plate Edition)
Purpose and Significance
These assessment tools are widely recognised for their reliability and clinical utility:
- TVPS-4 evaluates visual-perceptual skills closely associated with learning and academic performance.
- The DEM Test (Version 2.8, 2016) assesses oculomotor function and visual-verbal processing, supporting the identification of reading-related difficulties.
- The Ishihara Test (38-Plate Edition) remains the gold standard for detecting colour vision deficiencies.
Through this contribution, SAERA aims to strengthen hands-on student training, promote evidence-based assessment practices and enhance research capacity within RICPP.
Commitment to Academic Collaboration
This initiative reflects SAERA’s ongoing commitment to advancing psychological education, research and clinical excellence. It further reinforces the collaborative partnership between SAERA and RICPP, fostering continued development in professional training and service delivery.
