Laquindanum,\u00a0<\/strong>student of the\u00a0Master in Clinical <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saera.eu\/en\/audiology-programmes\/\">Audiology<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saera.eu\/en\/audiology-programmes\/\">Hearing Therapy<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<h2>Abstract<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The study explores range of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saera.eu\/en\/audiology-programmes\/\">auditory training<\/a> techniques intended to enhance fundamental abilities like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saera.eu\/en\/speech-and-language-therapy-programmes\/\">speech comprehension<\/a>, sound recognition, and the capacity to keep up with conversations in difficult listening contexts in lieu of amplification devices such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saera.eu\/en\/audiology-programmes\/\">hearing aids<\/a>. And while hearing aid technology has advanced significantly, user\u2019s complicated auditory processing issues are still inadequately addressed by these devices alone. This study highlights the importance of how auditory skills assist proper comprehension and communication amid an auditory environment where hearing-restoring device is not the ideal support system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Highlighting the need for enhanced communication skills among auditory-challenged individuals, this master\u2019s thesis explores how adult can improve their auditory skills through efficient training techniques. It emphasizes the efficacy of auditory training as an adjunctive intervention to hearing aids back-up by numerous research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The study focused at the theoretical underpinnings of auditory training such as the idea of neuroplasticity, which holds that with focused practice, the brain can change and become more adept at processing auditory information.
